Hy guys im looking to make my own carbon fibre intake for my ek4 b16a2 im sad when it comes to cars and i love the noise more than anything so im looking to make a scuttle panel intake much like the gruppe m, tegiwa for the ep3 its going to consist of a pod filter straight onto throttle body then enclosed in a box with ducting up to the scuttle panel with a small scoop. I love making things and want something unique but just wanting your thoughts? is this a massive waste of time? will a pod filter straight onto the throttle body ruin the flow? cheers guys!

The length of the piping between the filter and throttle body is an important part of the tuning...you can change characteristics of the engine by playing with this length. Have a search on Google. I wouldn't put the filter directly on the TB unless you know exactly what the result is.
