I am thinking of buying hid's for my ek9..Just woundering how easy are they to installl..?? How long would it take? What temperature would ye get?? Any pics?? Thanks :nice:

go with 4000-5000K. gives nice white light. anything higher will be more blue/purple

easy to install . i take 2 hours to fit them to ek9s but im very precise and have wires hiddin etc . i have fitted loads of 8000k kits and they look awesome

the ek9 headlight is not designed for high intensity discharge bulbs

all you will be doing is blinding other road users with blinding glare

the people that use them have not sympathy for other road user

inconsiderate morons imo

They do look good but like Lee said, you will be blinding people and there will also be a small chance the police will make you remove them. I don't really see the point in them unless you don't think your factory fitted lights are up to the job.

factory lights dont do 'the job'. actually theyre crap. better than EG lights but nothing compared to hid.
i have retrofitted bmw bixenon and difference is like night and day. literally. there is no need to use high beam - you can see everything on the road.

Which type r the best to u guys...i have in a xenon kit from May and one of the ballast stopped workin already so i gotta replace it

If you get a bixenon kit it will have a diffusor over the bulb which will reflect the light back into the headlight reflector and stop the blinding of on coming drivers. We sell loads of these kits and they are great.

if you ar getting them try and get a set with high and low beams, mine only have low and its an abslute pain on the dark backroads!
