lmao no prob general but sometimes its easier to be very blunt might come across offensive but meh no harm done
on another note change mine to 6k dude as i fancy seeing abit better rather than have a blue er tint :D

HID any day, the blue headlight bulbs may give a slight colour but are nowhere near as bright or give the same colour, you can tell them a million miles off

Do you know if the ballasts fire up at the same time? My mate has some Hids and one fires up before the other?

I wont a set, torn between 6000k and 8000k though :p is the 15th the cut-off date to pay?
 
General can you confirm if these are illegal or legal? I have MOT coming in month or two don't want to fail on these? although v. interested!

15th is the last day for people to put their names down and ideally I would like payment within the next 48 hours of then so bascially by the end of the 17th.

As for the colours, 6000k seems to be the most popular but it's your call. Depends how blue you want them.

They are only 'legal' in projector lamps, however, I got pulled by the police the other day as they were doing stop checks and pulling every couple of cars over and they said nothing about the lights.

The MOT depends how friendly your MOT guy is, it's like a decat, some MOT testers will says it's not allowed, others will be ok with it.

On the drivers side I used the metal triangular things you get to bold it down. On the passengers it is a little tight but I put the ballast sideways and used the cable ties provided. If it helps you guys, I'm more than happy to take a close up photo of how/where I've put the ballast
