Hi everyone,

My Name is Ray Douglas

I'm new to the Honda Game & I recently bought a freshly swapped 30k mile b16b swapped engine into a 94 integra with a few goodies added to it.

I bought the car on January 5th, from a craigslist ad for 1900$ .... the guy who had the car works for a honda dealership and bought the car from a younger guy that was getting rid of the integra and wanted to get the car off his personal house lot and I needed a ride after my 4g eclipse got side swept and the whole front was destroyed from a speeding corolla back in july....

The Integra has stage one Hasport axles , Hasport Motor Mounts, Elder-Brock intake manifold "Performer X" and a greddy exhaust system, Hondata s300, and finally a B16B JDM type r competition clutch .... (not sure if there is such thing as a b16b JDM type r competition clutch?)but that's what the ad said when i got it. Oh! and the stock ls tranny :( ....

cool thing is I had the car delivered to my house because the guy worked for Honda and used dealership tags to deliver it :D:D

but anyways....

I'm currently getting the car ready for inspection so im replacing the small stupid stuff, but whats been really bugging me lately is the lack of forged low compression pistons, and forged rods to go along with the b16b block.


I've been reading alot about swaps but none of the swaps include converting the b16b into a low compression engine for boosting, ive even been reading from clubintegra.com, but I still keep running into walls... it also could be the fact that im not a huge engine tech guy so its hard for me to know what swaps into what directly but I am learning slowly.

The closest ive seen was that the b16b is the same block as the GSR and JDM ITR. thing is, how do i obtain the compression ratio of the GSR?

can i swap the crankshaft and add the forged rods and pistons and boom there is my low compression boost ready engine or what?

im looking for something that will let me keep vtec but have low compression between low 9:0.0 or low 10's

any info would be great and please be direct
