Guys im pulling my hair out argh!!!! i have pulled my b18c engine out of my pre facelift ej9 to put into my new facelift ej9 all was going sweet untill i turned i came to plug in the ecu i have p28 with b18c chip from h tune and a jumper harness but i have noticed my b series loom has 3 plugs that go into the ecu but there is a spare plug the same as the third plug that goes into my ecu i ignored this as there is a green plug further up the engine loom that i thought was the dash plug so i plugged it in, it worked perfectly in the grey one and plugged into the one in the new civic. When i went to start it no fuel pump prime and no starting so i ran a seperate ignition live to the fuel pump and she fired right up on the test drive i noticed the speedo,rev counter, (CEL) does'nt come on with ignition on and theres no vtec engaging now does this mean i have to swap the whole dash loom from the pre facelift to facelift or can i run seprate wires for these previously mention problems or what??? im at whits end argh please please help
 
same issue my end, u need a prefacelift dash loom.

or complelty rewire it like me and a mate have done
