If you ever decide to vent your block to a catch tank.
Take the inlet manifold off and do if from above
Do not try to be clever and do it from underneath. It's ****ing torture.
It also helps if you possess a 14mm hex socket/drain plug before you start.
Trying to make a 14mm hex socket/drain plug from a 14mm headed bolt with a nut welded to it won't work either.:angry2:

lol, the right tools always help the job become easier. i did mine when the motor was out of the car ;)
