help!

Ok guys I got this engine that's been sitting for about two years I was told to slowly start turning it by hand using some lubrication? I just don't know what to look for or what kind to use, if anyone can point me in the right direction it would greatly appreciated thanx in advance.

I'd imagine if you take the spark plugs out, un plug the distributor and crank the engine untill the oil light goes off you'll be fine.
