hello, i need some advice on a set of dc2 cams i bought a while back...
i got them from ebay and tonight is the 1st ive actually compared them to my own out of my own engine.

the cams i took out of my car are alot smaller, the lobes are alot shorter and cams are overall smaller/thinner. could anyone recognise if these are actually dc2 cams or have i been sold something else.... the cams with the pulleys are the ones that came out of my car.

also i am sending the head away to get skimmed an port polished, any tips on how much i should take off? its a B16A2... thanks again
 
The cams you bought dont have the lobe for engaging vtec. I can count 8 lobes on them and 12 lobes on your cams. Dont know what they are from but the definitely arent the same! Think maybe you should be contacting whoever you bought them from and asking questions!
 
sorry to say it mate but they are not vtec cams, there is no centre lobes to run vtec. i don't have a clue what car they are for?
 
the joys of ebay m8 it can be dodgy i havw had a mixture of good and bad off ebay :(
 
could they be toda VTEC killers?

Looks like you got shafted. It happened to me with before with stuff eBay. Ya always need to triple check things before buying off ebay

ebay tell me about it. ebay is a lottery wif 2nd hand stuff luckily i never broke the bank buying them...
this will be the last!!lol

anyone think they could use them for a turbo build etc give me a shout on pm
