use proper grease and your problem will be solved. Grease the bushings and the end links.
Chet Baker, i haven't adjusted mine with the car on the ground. Is this a problem? The ASR logo can be seen straight as you look at it. Still it is very difficult to get under the car and adjust it with no preload i guess.
Yes, you should adjust the endlinks so there's no load at ride height, because when it's preloaded it will "unload" in one direction during mid-corner, which can be unsettling. If you can't get under the car to do this, you can use this method. You need jack stands, two jacks of any kind (floor jack and spare jack will work), and two strong boards.
Keep all wheels on the car.
Pull the e-brake really tight.
Put the front of the car up on jack stands.
Put the rear of the car up on jack stands just one step lower than the fronts.
Now, put a jack under each rear tire with a board above each jack as a buffer for the the tire.
Raise each jack up until the car is no longer on the rear stands, and the car is level.
Put your rear jack stands up somewhere stable in the rear for safety.
Now, adjust your end links.
Long directions, but this is easier than rotating the tires.
