Hello

I have been reading the forums for a few weeks now, lots of great information and looks to be a friendly forum so decided to join.
I'm 25 and I still don't have a licence:nono: should be passed for the spring/summer with a bit of luck. Hoping to make up for it by starting out with a decent car hopefully a EK4 VTi or Almera GTi if the funds wont stretch to a VTI.
What do you guys reckon to much car to start out with? any other recommendations.

First off, Welcome mate!!

Long time to wait before getting a license, how've you been getting round until now?

As for starting off with a VTi, I'd say it would be a great car to start with since I'm sure that by the age of 25 you're a little past those 'irresponsible' years of your youth! I'd definately say aim for the Civic over the Almera though - far more support both in terms of technical knowledge and parts for the Civic.

Good luck in the hunt man!

Mostly cycling and the bus, where I live I don't really need a car everything is in easy reach. A few of my mates are into there Fords (Sierra's and RS Turbo's mostly) and the car bug has bitten, thankfully not the Ford bug :D

:welcome: mate, yeah vti would be a mint first car to have and maybe a slight bit more reliable than a rs turbo:p good luck on the hunt
