Hi There,

Thought I would join up and come say hi. Currently drive a S2000 and just wondering if its worth changing over to an EK9 as they are likely to be cheaper to run.......is this true or and I mistaken?

welcome to the site...

 S2000 is my fav honda, however ek9 will be chaeper to run as more spacious as a whole...:nice:

btw: never driven a '9' b4, own an ek4 (vti B16A2)... :)

Hey vtecroadhog,

Yeah the S is an awsome car just a little tight for space, likes lots of petrol and is expensive on tax as well plus not cheap to maintain either. Never been in an EK9 before a chap down the road from me has one and I always stop and stare when he drives past....lovely looking cars...just seeing how things pan out at the mo my insurance is gonna be due for renewal soon and it aint gonna be cheap. whats the EK9 like for insurance?

Welcome matey!

EK9 is an insurance group 20 mate! Prob really expensive lol!

welcome to www.ek9.org , the s2000 is a great car! and it has a lot more hp and torque than the ek9, but if you like the ek9 you should go for one ;)

im 23 and hardly pay nething for insurance for the ek9 plus i live in norn iron lol oh and i just put my girlfriend on the insurance yesterday who is 21 been drivin 4 months and still on r plates and it didn't cost me nething extra to put her on!!!! lol i think i may have got a bargin with the insurance lol

:nerv: iam not sure but i think the ek9 is a group 17...

so S group 20 should cost more to insure. . . :lock:
