Heater Demister...

Hi...

Im thinking of removing all the heater components from my civic. If i do, id want some SORT of front window demister. Anyone tried any electric/universal heater blower, like what is used on kit cars or rally cars I know people use the ones on ebay, but for tenner i doubt it they would work or be any beneficial.
 
I use a 3" fan, bilge pump, I bought off eBay and use it to demist my windscreen. Seems to work okay. Not be as good as standard setup but def works
 
so far chamoising the inside of the window and cracking open the drivers window a bit does the trick for me!

wind deflectors help keep the water out too, haha
 
Glad you posted this up!

Everymorning I get in my ek and its like a bloody goldfish bowl in there - the windscreen is always the worst piece of glass and has to be dried with some kitchen towel each time as otherwise the feeble blowers would never dry / clear it in a million years.

At first I thought it was leaky tail lights but now think it must be condensation from breath etc
