Hi,

I noticed that my headlight covers, have got like a film of dirt or something on them. I have been told by someone that it is something to do with them being plastic and the sun discolours them.

I have been recommended to use some scratch removal stuff to buff off the dirty film and apparantly they will come up like new after....???

Anyone else done or heard of this????

Meguiars PlastX Clear Plastic Cleaner & Polish should do it mate, works even better if you can get your hands on a proper polishing machine.

I put some of my car wax on a cloth and gave them a good buff, came up like new after it

Nice one thanks guys, looks like I will be doing a bit of polishing at the weekend lol :nice:

Ive had this on plastic lights on imported cars before.
T cut works a treat.:nice:

agree with comments but once they have gone slightly yellow it will always keep coming back.the megs stuff is good but needs to be redone every so often

Just been out and spent half hour with a cloth and some polish and gave my headlights a good clean up!!

And its good news, they came up like new and now look awesome!! I'm happy now! :D

Thanks for the help, much apreciated!! :nice:

If the hazing comes back you can get 2 new ek9 head lights from honda £154 and they can normally get them in 2 days :nice:
