Headers DYNO Results !! On stock Integra Type R engine.


whats everyone think of the 5zigen 4-2-1 manifold, what sort of gains does it have ?


I have the original ITR 98spec 4-1 manifold from your dc2 on my ek racecar and IMO the 98Spec 4-1 is better on the dc2 than on the civic because the civic is only a 1600cc and needs a 4-2-1 for better mid range. The ITR 4-1 will make more power overall compared to the 5-zigen


If you wanted I could swap you the 98Spec 4-1 for the 5-zigen?

Aw right, i always preferred the 98spec 4-1 manifold, ill have a think about it lad and let you know sure.

You'd have to compare the dyno graphs for your exact setup because if the dc2 had for example 2 more hp right at the top of the power band but the 5zigen had 5 throughout the rest of the powerband then no doubt the 5zigen will be better matched for the majority of applications. Whats the point in having a tiny bit extra just as your running out of revs to use for a second or 2 when you can have more throughout the rest of your rev range, unless of course your just aiming for peak figures but again whats the point in that?
 
what do you think about PLM toda 4-2-1 to fix it on my DC2 b18c engine and kikimoto n1 exhaust ????
 
My DC2 had a 98spec manifold
Changed to a Tegiwa 4-2-1 which s a copy of the Toda V2
Can feel the difference straight away :)
Sounds a bit deeper tone too
 
Is PLM a copy of the Toda?
Should be near enough the same
I use to have a kakimoto n1. Awesome exhaust!
 
The 96 spec JDM header is a significant improvement over the UKDM on on the DC2,
 
I think it's a UKdm manifold used as the "stock itr" as one of the comparison graphs there is one titled jdm itr 4-1.
