Handbrake light

Handbrake light stays on even when the handbrake is off

Checked the switch on the actual handbrake and this is fine and not getting stuck. Also it sometimes goes off after 15-30 mins of driving. Anyone know what it could be a warning for?

Did you try pulling the wires off the switch and see does the light go out? Next place to look is the bulb and the wiring to the bulb could be a bad earth somewhere or crossed feed.

Thought it might be, will check the level's and switch again tomorrow.
