Good quality 15" tyres

I've got 2x 205/50/15 ao48's I can sell you.
Decent tread easily legal
I would use them but probably going r888's instead so just need them out the way
Say £90 for the pair.
Can get you pics if your interested

Toyo T1R can be had for less than £40-45 per tyre.

Pretty good value!

Jesse. Pics would be good

Need good grippy tyres as trying to put 400bhp down

Will get pics later today mate

Your not going to get that down with T1R's. Its going to be a struggle to get all that down!

You looked at the federal and toyo cut slicks?

Everything I've read says there very load on road and very poor in wet

I need something that's good on road as well

Didn’t realise you were running 400bhp…id agree that t1r may not be suitable.

Take it this isn't a daily?
Probably going to want some harder wearing semi slicks for road use,

Yep not daily

Currently running t1-r's and spin up in 3rd in dry

Can you recommend makes and models?

Will be using oem 9 wheels

Hmm If money's not an issue then new ao48s would be good, if not then try federals semi slick?
I've had toyo r1r before on a really torquey fwd (370ftlbs) would grip 2nd on a warm day but wear like chocolate.
A wider tyre will help you. Like a 225 or something.

Minimum I would be running at least 205/50's. Any wider in 15" an price/ available is very limited. Would recommend Yokohama AD08's for road use or some federal 595RSRs.

Any reason why your staying 15"? Would be much easier to put that kind of power down with some 215 or 225 16"s.

Going totally oem exterior wise for a while but still want to be able to use the power

Yep the toyo 888 are loud but they do grip well, and they will out perform any road tyre in wet conditions. Just dont go hitting standing water with them.
Also try softning the front suspension off abit if you can. Rock hard suspension doesnt make your car grip very well.

Ordered a set of a048's for now

Will see how I go

I'll soften the damping today
