I'm only down road from ya, in kildare. Ring me if you want to meet up tonight. 0857486579

As for labour costs, Couture charge 120ph, TDP i think is around same. Its not cheap either if ya have a couple hours work to be done...

yea i'm pretty handy at mechanics etc and have friends who are mechanics put i wouldn go tryin changing internals ya no!

Lots of different products out there from meguiars to simoniz etc. I find carb cleaner and a brush pretty good or gunk engine degreaser.

yea i have degreaser, was told there was paint you can get for the block, silver in colour....
starting cleaning tomorro just want fewtips

Yea I'm looking into using a B18 bottom end on my B16B but keeping the B16B pistons and head. I've heard this is a good set up! :)

I think Stuartek9 on the forum has done this.

If I did do this set up would I need an aftermarket head gasket, ARP head bolts and a different ECU??

cheers

you'd defo need new ecu set up so i'm told because of the high compression!!

if you use itr pistons an itr ecu will be ok..

found a b18c block for 260 with big ends gone....are these dear to replace??

cool I will going with Hondata in the future anyways.

I would rather use the ek9 pistons.:nice:

yea vtec6000 etc were sayin there higher compression, 12:5 or somehting like that..

yea I think the higher the compression the better on N/A builds. but not too high abviously. Best to use the B16B cams as the intake camshaft is the best! :)
