Get the EK9 in Forza3!

Longer development times, more disc space etc etc, many reasons really.

It makes sense as they cannot be expected to include all cars on the original release, but updating them is now simple with the online system so new tracks and cars can always be added.

There is a fee to download them, you go to the XBL website and buy Microsoft points, starting at £8.50 for 1000, and the car packs and tracks are usually 400 points, so around £3 each.

I cannot wait to get the EK9! :nice: Anyone know if it is facelift or pre-facelift?

i see were ProjectJDM is coming from, but they are just corporate arseholes trying to make more money out of us. i think its quite cool getting new cars (even though you have to pay) as it gives something new to do

Certain cars will not be able to compete even when they are in a class. It makes sense as not all chassis are capable to accept all the power put to them. And i have a good few R3/R2 cars "modded" not race cars that compete with race cars by my careful tuning. Obviously crap chassis cars are not going to compete. Tire size plays a big part too and obviously how much down force the car can generate.

yeah don't get me wrong the game is good, but even with race splitters and spoilers, and downforce turned all the way up, there is nowhere near the downforce the in-game ones have, i own many #?? race cars, and they are superior round corners to any one i can build, even a custom built lexus SC430 for example is no where near as good as the in-game SC430 race car...

your right about the chassis, ovbiously a ford focus isn't going to compete with a lambo, or a viper, but they should have a seperate class for them -- not forcing you to race them agains't cars they can't beat -- making them pointless cars to have....
