Genuine or Fake?


Well it has the vin plate in the right place for an ek9 anyways. What makes you think its fake?
 
Well I know it's a cat D, but why go to the trouble of fitting a B20 and then downgrading the brakes, fitting 4 stud hubs, fitting a standard interior, changing the clocks etc....
 
i see what you mean sam doesnt look "Genuine" to me either. but who knows lol
 
The race base's came with 4 studs and basically an ej9 interior so that explains that. As for the engine maybe whoever crashed/fixed it had a b20 already waiting to go in or something. Although the race base did come with the normal ek9 clocks so not sure why they have been changed.

I personally wouldn't touch this car though. To many mismatched parts ect.
 
i know it doesnt really make much odds but arent they ek4 seats? and then ej9 door cars?
 
that explains that then, not sure what difference the cat D/C actually makes tho? potentially a cheap trakc ek9 for someone at that price.

That people put on because they had loads of wheels from EGs etc lying around.... All EK9s came as 5 stud originally!

Can't see a mention anywhere about the front lip being replaced in any of the old threads but it's defo not a genuine one. It looks really odd.
