hey everybody, just thought i'd post a friendly "hello" message and let you all know that i'm here, and that i'm not just a creepy lurker. i am a bit of an outsider at this point, however, as i am not technically an ek9 owner...unforunately, the car of my dreams wasn't ever sold up here in canada. however, i am doing the best i can, and recently purchased a 99 ej6 with the intention to convert it as closely as i am able into a civic type r. so, expect lots of frustrated, inquisitive posts, i suppose. anyway, the forum seems rad, and everyone here seems quite knowledgeable, so i suppose i came to the right place. happy to be the newest part of the community!

wow, thanks for the warm welcome! that's really cool. i can tell this forum's gonna be awesome. i don't have any pics of my ej6 yet, i only picked it up about a month ago, but they will be forthcoming. i'm originally from calgary, alberta, but i'm down in lethbridge for school right now. i've never seen a ctr in either city, or even a conversion of one, so i'm really stoked on the idea of undertaking a conversion project. it'll be a bit slow-going just because of school and lack of funds and stuff, but i'm still quite excited about it. where are you other canadian members from?

Im not actually from Canada but i have a few friends from around Ontario. Mainly in Guelph and Toronto.

I am in Calgary as well but well you are in Lethbridge right now.
well doesn't matter if you have any question welcome to ask me as well:naughty:

haha! that's awesome. i'm glad for the all offers of help, i'm sure i will be taking them up with vigor in the near future. my car's silver right now, but i think it's going to be black before things come to a close. i thought white at first, but i'm leaning the other way now. snow, i noticed in your profile pic there's a speedtech sign. i was referred there by a friend as a source for parts, but i haven't dealt with them yet. how are they?
