G786 S2000 stage 1 turbo setup

Heres a nice street car we recently done for a customer. 390hp wastegate pressure, on pump fuel. We done this job in just 5days, while also working on other cars :)

The owner bought the car like that, theres a big brake setup on the front and these were the only wheels that would clear. Still on stock suspension for now.
 
awesome turn around time! A lot of times you see jobs like this taking a couple months and being pushed back.
 
What kind of torque is it making Yasir? Actually any pics of dyno sheet?:nice:

looks like an animal tho :) looking to turbo my b18c6 ek9 if it dosent sell, how much does a set up like that cost fitted and dyno'd? PM me !!
 
It was around 340lbs torque, ill dig the sheet out at work tomorrow. Thanks for the nice comments and PM coming to you now :)
 
This the one that caught fire?
 
No this did not catch fire. How ever one other car did, the customer insisted on taking the car when we never fully finished the car. SO we advised him what to do and he didn't listen. So a brake line bust and caused a fire. We did have his car for a while but it was due to him supplying the parts and us waiting on parts because alot of stuff was wrong or not in a good state.
 
just a slight interest, whats the cost for a stage 1 turbo conversion for a s2000?
 
For the above which is:

Stage 1 turbo kit
CC clutch kit
Hondata flash pro
Hondata 4bar map sensor
ID1000s
FBM fuel pump
Honda oil filter and race oil
Race iridium plugs

Labour, parts and tuning works out to roughly £6000. Thats for a drive in drive out service, all you need is a decent exhaust system.
 
Fair play. Never heard your side of story, just usual this garage has don that and what not.
Was oil line wasn't it?
 
It wasn't an oil line, it was definitely brake line. He rang me straight after it happened. He said the brakes stopped working when he saw smoke and tried coming to a stop. Then the next day he tried changing the story. He was a pain right from the start wanting the car done straight away and expecting me to work miracles with parts that wouldnt work.


I have a few videos on my youtube page, I didnt really get a chance to get the s2000 in action. Ill see if the owner has anything.
 
Yeah that's the thing with forums. Unless your there to defend yourself.
Anyway looks a nice build!
