Just a quick question.

I was wondering if I could get away with using a simple Vortech FMU for 4 PSI of boost with stock injectors and a Walbro 255L Fuel pump?

I have a garrett T4 AR 55 turbo thats way too big but Im only looking for 4 psi at high RPM.

My wife and I are in our 30s and drive boring Minivans and Jeeps but we both now have old Civics for fun. I gave my old D16Y8 turbo civic to my wife as a get around car and she is killing me with 227 HP. I thought my B16B swap would be equal but no I need just a bit more power.

normally i would say yes, but due to the high compression of the b16b i would say no, unless you want to put a thicker headgasket on it, then i think it would be safe all the way up to 10psi with a .080" headgasket.

So what ur saying is that the injecters will b fine but even with as lettle boost as 4psi you should lower the compresion.

The reason blinx is talking about the compression is because of the lack of being able to control timing to prevent det. the thicker headgasket will give you a bit more room for error when it comes to the high comp of the b16b.

correct. its not really the proper way to do it, but it is cheaper than swapping for lower compression pistons.
