I am new to this stuff just bought a 1997 ek4 vti & i have been looking about at different exhausts etc, i dont want to go for an ebay special exhaust but on the other hand i dont fancy spending an absolute fortune lol, this may have been asked before but im just wondering about the "FP racing n1 exhaust system" found it on funkypower,It will be a while before i get round to changing the exhaust as the bodywork needs done first but any info/reviews on this exhaust system would be great :thanks:

No, It's awful, because that means there's a good chance your car will sound better than mine. :) Haha. Also, Welcome, man.

Will imagine it would be ok...

We bought a Spoon N1 rep for the EP3 not FP but it was bleeding awesome and sounds great!

Is it the B-pipe or the whole system? My EK4 has a genuine Spoon Street muffler but I think the B-pipe is the FP replica (according to my friend who I bought the car off).

My mate had fitted the system about 9 months before I bought the car so has now been fitted for approx 28 months with no problems. I couldn't tell you about performance gains as I'm not sure how it performed with the stock system

Anyway heres a vid of my system which uses the FP B-pipe to give an idea of sound bearing in mind the Spoon Street is a quiet muffler in nature anyway.
