So I just recieved my ECU and although i will have a professional tune my car, i want to know what base maps you guys use because the b16b base map is not available. Only thing close is the USDM GSR and JDM ITR.

Will (ek9turbo) is the man to speak to regarding hondata buddy

I would think you would start with the jdm b16a and tune from there. Will would know more.

I find it strange that there are not stock starting points myself as I had this issue with the JDM b18cr, there is no base maps available for this engine.

I'm running the itr stock map on my Hondata S300J, with the revlimit to 7000, you'll have to calibrate the TPS!

I have the shift light (check engine light used a the shiftlight) at 5000 RPM, I don't want to rev the motor above 5000 RPM until I tune it at the dyno.

I already drove for 210 kms without any issues.

But as said above, I prefer you wait for ek9turbo recommendations :)

If there anything like some of the other tuning software basemaps I'd not be putting to much load on engine till tuned as the basemaps aren't great.

Agree completely vith Vtec6000, I think base maps are only as good as the time and car that they were written for. I wouldn't spend my hard earned cash then take a chance. Unless your tuner of choice has given you a start map and guidance I would always trailer the car to the Dyno to get set up. Its not expensive there are lots or car transport companies on the go now.
