beautiful car, good luck selling it :woot:

power? how much is it putting down?
I haven't put it on a Rolling Road yet mate so unfortunately dont know:rolleyes:Its a bit insane though, lol, but seriously an excellent street car, so nimble and handling is excellent in these cars, really suprises me.

Thanks for the kind words everyone:cool:

Stunning car, what kind of warranty would you be getting with this?

Would be interesting to see its power, and might sell quicker if the power was known.

Ah, I myself would like to know that figure too, plus have been wanting to check what 1/4mile I can get in it (even though its not a drag car), however, some potential buyers are put off if a car has been put on 'The Strip' or has been on a RR. I myself dont see a problem with it, but its not me who decides that, some people have the idea it has then been thrashed. At one point the car will have been on a RR though. If I have serious interest off somebody who wants the power checked, I will have it done, no problem.

i can make a pretty accurate estimate, but... i wont unless the op says its ok. the turbo on the car is an hks28rs correct?
Yes, obviously Garrett built. You can make an estimate if you like mate, but remember folks, this is just an educated estimate from another owner, I am not claiming it is true so dont hold me to it.:)

woohoo, i love this stuff, well, lets see... GT28rs at .35 bar which is ~5.1psi assuming it has a decat and a 60mm exhaust, and depending on the fuel used and the tune i'd say somewhere around 225-245whp. turn the boost up to 10psi and you'll be at 300whp easily but you should use very high grade fuel for that due to the compression. car should be VERY fun to drive cause that turbo should spool up VERY VERY VERY early, im guessing its starts spooling around 2500rpm and gives full boost at around 3500rpm.

:nice:Yes its on full boost slightly before 4000rpm IIRC, can see you've done the research:cool: I'm not a B16 expert but I personally wouldn't recommend turning the boost up to 10psi without looking into strengthening internals. Again, you're right, its very very fun, in fact I was discussing earlier with a friend whilst in my Evo and we both agree its definately more fun, not sure on if its quicker though as its totally different delivery etc. so hard to judge. What amazes me is the balance of the car, even with the added power/torque it still eats corners:drive:

Again though peeps, this is just an estimated figure from an onlooker....but thanks for your views dude.

Do you know the standard whp?

Do you know the standard whp?

you mean the stock whp? usually a stock ek9 will be somewhere around ~150whp depending on the type of dyno, all my estimates are based on a dynojet 248 chasis dyno.

indeed i did do A LOT of research a while ago because i was going to use that turbo at one point. i have a stock shortblock and im running 15psi but my compression is very low, about 8.3, i used b18a/b pistons :) i would be more worried about the compression, a thick head gasket should be in order if there are any plans to raise the boost.

i know what you mean about the power delivery, i drove an evo too, its very different, i do agree the civic is more fun :) and your right the addition of a turbo does not really sacrafice handling, you just have to learn to be easy on the throttle :nice:

Yes, I was after the stock figures, was thinking a similar increase aswell tbh:)

Its definately a more raw car than an Evo, and the chassis has to be given credit...handles the extra power with no problems, well traction is a ball ache but like you say, just be careful with the throttle.

Price now reduced for EK9.org members...£7800 to members on here, thats a large reduction for someone.

I may post some other cars up too...
