Footrest EK9 RX Metal or plastic?

Hi :).

I've found this Photo:

And there's footrest metal-coated, like the RX-pedals (I have already), but to finish this, I hear about it is Honda who made it? For when I look at other RX models are footrest just black plastic?

I've talked with Honda in Denmark. But they do not know whether there will be a plastic or metal.

Someone who can give my answer?

I think its either a metal plate over the plastic, or all-metal construction.
 
That doesn't look like a Honda part to me, The pedal covers are Mugen.

They made these for the DC2/EK9 Optional extra non RX, I have the set in my car.



Never did an RX version though for the dead rest.

You could bolt on one of these in if you were that bothered.

Are those hard got? I've seen a set like ages ago and never seen another since.
 
I'd contact Honda or some breakers I've saw them here and there :nice:.

Defo not oem the alloy foot rest. I have an RX and only the pedals are alloy.

Just leave it black others look tacky IMO

I'm sure you could adapt a JDM EP3/DC5 Footrest quite easily which matches the Rx pedals!
