flocked dash????

was wondering what peoples thoughts where on flocking the grey baserace dash on the ek9 would it devalue it at all??
was thinking go wit black but with the carpet being red maybe do dash the same just a thought whats peopl think ftw?
 
with the carpet being red do the dash the same? i hope your not stupid enough to do the dash red. black would increase the value if done well IMO.
 
I love flocked dashes I want one my self but can't be bothered with the hastle at the moment, to many things going on.

There was one for sale on piston heads a while back £200 iirc.
 
is there anyway to do it yourself ?
i like flocked dash it adds function since the sun does not reflect on windscreen anymore :nice:
 
yeh as long as you can get the matrail its easy enuff as long as you are good with your hands just take your time and have pacience i did my eg looked amazing

you do realise race base interior parts arent arent rare or unique, exact opposite, just parts grabbed from honda parts bin and thrown in from bottom of range range ek's

imho black flocked dashes are very nice but would say when selling car wouldnt affect value, ie wouldnt add value or decrease it, if i was buying car with it id see as added bonus
 
will make a diy when i get round to sorting it should be in next few weeks once ive finished putting all the loom backin will start a thread of the full pain in the butt project lol
iceman yeh iknow base race interior is pants as they come thats why i wana upgrade itbut whilst trying to keep it how manufacturers would rather than painting things or putting stupid lights stickers or whatever else halfords bargain bin can supply lol as in my opinion buying all new interior in blackwould just cost to much when i can make my pants on loook even better.
 
i agree they do look smart thats why i tought about it but fair play it aint everyones cup of tea like il go pink with yellow spots and call my car blobby instead thatl get them thinking lol
 
i can prob sort you full black interior plastics for reasonable price if interested but would be collection only
