better for sure, think its more the mapping though. Dont think i NEEDED to spend £600 on an ecu but hey!
Your ek9 looks like it goes well after the map
Is it a b16b or b18c? Reason I ask is the rev limit seems to be set quite low @ 8400rpm, is there a reason for that? My b16b really gets going after 8k
b16b
the rev limiter is the std 8400 rpm, but i thought my new shift light came on at 8400 so was revving just under it, but the LIGHT comes on at 8k, just found that out!
The car was still going well only being reved to 8k but at least you where still on vtec with the set point at 5k.
My tuner set my rev limit to 9k and he assured me that the engine can take it all day long with the b16b shorter stroke keeping piston speeds lower than the b18c, he also highlighted the fact that our engines make the most power right up the revs so to get the most out of them they can be reved that high
Did you choose to keep the limit at 8400rpm just to be safer?
What onboard camera do you use plus how's it fixed?
a flip HD with a Hauge headrest mount.
you got a photo of the mount and how its set in the car?
I have a mount but can only use it with headrests that come out the seat with the metal rods. Obviously the recaros dont have this.
car looks / sounds super smooth with new ecu.
