FD rev drop

Those with 4.78 or 4.9 FD, if you change up at 8k, how much do your revs drop off? 2nd into 3rd, 3rd into 4th, 4th into 5th. Also, again changing up at 8k, what speed do you change into 5th? Thanks.
 
exact same as before, ha ha ... sorry but its true, unless you change the gears them selves the rpm drop is the same as before its just the speed at those rpms are different ie 60mph at 8k in second becomes 56 mph at 8k etc

may not be axact but you get the idea ha ha:(
 
Thanks, not been out in a car with either, I see you sit at higher revs so torque is increased, I have definately made the best choice with my gearing, not really seeing the point of a little bit more torque over shorter ratios for a touch more money, wish I could post some video!
So what is the normal drop in revs? I didnt pay much attention before I had my gearing done :rolleyes:
