Yeah that's what I said on the phone! What do the expect me to do,leave it until there's a suitable time for them?! Luckily I'm in a position where I have another car I can use but I'm still wanting it cleaned up and fixed as soon as I can!
 
Gutted for you mate, that's a joke about the police. Do they just expect you to leave your car unsecured until they get some free time.

They must do yeh! Theyre a ****ing shambles! There's nothing in my car as it's pretty well stripped out but that's not the point. Not too keen on taking my old man's audi out the garage now to get my car locked up whilst he's in Angola with work!

Ah **** i didnt realise there was a brick in the car! What a wanker. On the glass note, new tinted glass from honda takes ages and is pretty dam expensive. Couldnt u get a bootlid and get the glass swapped over.

Im sure bootlids go pretty cheap these days.
 
Think I've lined up a rear screen that was removed from my mate's ek9 race car so hopefully I'm sorted for that. Just need to get a seal priced up now and get it fitted!

I will be once I get the new window in incase it happens again! Might have to clear the crap out the other half of my garage and lock it away at nights!

Gutted for you mate. Seals can be very expensive, my dad once locked his keys in his van, instead of smashing the rear window he cut the seal and took the glass out, new seal was £150 and new glass would only have been £80 :lol: Hope you get everything sorted anyway :nice:
 
Yeah,I've already had a quote for a new front seal frim Sim autoparts on here at £64.99 and that was alot less than Lings so I dare say the back one wont be cheap either! Cheers mate,hopefully get it sorted this week :)

Well that's true! Can't wait to start the clear up of all the glass,going to take forever! Hopefully get her nursed back to health soon
 
what a joke :( really hate seeing things like this mate.

my aunt and her fiancee recently got broken into, stole a car, credit cars, phones, wallets etc they caught them and got back all there stuff so that was good :)

One you get it fixed, clear out the rest of the garage and get it in there. No more worrying plus keeps it out of the elements :nice:

Yeh the garage will definately be getting cleared out and used for the ek9 now so theres no chance of any repeat of this!
