exhaust wrapping

hey guys, i have a 4-1 mani on my ek and im thinking on heat wrapping it. is there much point in doing this or would i be wasting my time??

ya there are two main reason to wrap a manifold, one to keep the heat down in the engine bay and the other to keep the EGT temp high in the manifold because the hotter air is the faster it can travel meaning it will empty your cylinder of unwanted gases quicker but it can only ever travel fast as the speed of sound and no faster.
