exhaust smell

Always wanted to know why my ek9 always smells really lean when you first start it up . I still have the cat in place . Could my lamba sensor be on its way out or would that stick the light on the dash . I have done a quick search but couldnt find anything

what do you mean "lean smell'? Bad smell on start up could also be a busted cat.

All my Honda's have done it that slightly rich smell i think its just where they run more fuel on startup i.e in the choke.
