so i purchased all the parts to give my single jingle and nice tune up till i save for this b20 using the gas money i save with 38 mpg lo .. but i have failed TWICE miserably ive been under my car for a total of 16 hours and ive done n oil change new gasket seal new dizzy and spark plugs 3 hours worth of work but i found everything that is wrong with the car from horrible tie rod boots got new axles and shift links too so i wanted to change my timing belt and i figured a water pump too while im in there so im all the way down to finally the the pulley bolt and after trying 3 different air guns on a 35 gallon 155 psi tank no luck two break bars still nothing gave up slapped everything on untuned... a day later my engine light comes on get codes p0335 and 0336 and i think i know they said it was my cam censor could that be from us attempting to get the bolt off cause this or could it have finally just gone cant change it because i cant get the timing belt off to get to it... ruff week any tips ideas with the codes and or tune up help with this timing belt or bolt

Probably better putting this in the engine forum mate!

thanks I KNOW FOR NEXT TIME I FOUND OUT THE ISSUE I NEVER PUT MY TIMING BELT COVER BACK ON AND THE CRACK SHAFT SENSOR HARNESS COMING FROM MY MANIFOLD WAS GETTING CUT UP BY MY TIMING BELT I KNOW CRAZY GOTTA RE RUN IT UNDER THE ALTERNATOR:angry2:

Punctuation please?

That is so badly written most people won't even bother to read it!
Regarding the problem, someone more knowledgable will be along soon :)

My Crank Shaft Harness...... Coming from my manifold to my crank sensor..... still with me....near my alternator...... my alternator belt was rubbing against the harness through the insulation.

Repair it and reset the ECU.....

The ecu? Hmmmm didn't know that thanks for the tip but I picked up a new harness because that's what the alternator belt (i think) was cutting into the harness. But I need to get it to the shop because unfortunately to access this little harness I need to take off the dam pulley... Smh

And curious as to why I would reset my ecu?? I'll do it but wats the theory behind it if u know the answer thanks.

To turn the light off,
Sometimes they are triggered and need resetting after fault is fixed.

Just write in full words and not text talk.
Makes it easier for everyone.
