Engine wont turn on

engine wont turn on hear the spark plug going but wont turn on wont rev. Has the red icon of the kettle dripping water/oil whats that mean??? Checked all oil still good no leaks battery still full im guessing my alarm still very very loud. PLease help only car for work ><

i stopped driving it cause xmas break for abt 4 days and now doesnt turn on again
 
I expect your battery is dead, its been freezing for the last few weeks. Give it a charge and try again.
 
battery seems ok tho alarm is still very loud and other stuff that uses battery works fine ><. If its the battery is there any way to check?
 
Use a multimeter on the battery and see what voltage it is displaying.

So when you turn the key you get the dash lights display but when you turn it again to fire it up you get nothing at all ?

can you hear the fuel pump prime ?
 
put a jump lead on and charge it for a bit before starting. dont keep trying to start it as you'll flood the engine
 
Sorry for my noobness whats a jump lead? Is that like jump starting it with another battery??
