Hey everyone I'm in the middle of my swap and just wondering a few things ..... I have an EJ6 civic cx ... It current has the sohc non V in it .. As I was pulling some cables and getting it ready for the B I noticed that the IAC valve clip is different from the b16 .. The B Has a circular clip with two pins and the one I currently have is oval with three pins .. I currently have the stock wiring in there my mechanic said he would be able to use it and I won't need to change it ?? Any ideas .. I know he's gunna run my vtec wire to the ecu I'm just clueless about my IAC valve ..

...hummm, and why not use the correct harness for the year engine/ecu?
Not to save time I hope.

Engine is obd1 and I'm to cheap to buy another harness and also the mechanic told me I don't need one that I can use mine ... I just like to double check .. I guess I should just chill out and let him handle it I just get eager to learn

theres your problem 'I'm to cheap to buy another harness' do properly and do it once!! :(
