Engine Stuttering and Missing

Just recently my CTR motor started stuttering and missing at anything above 1/4 throttle. I'm ordering a replacement TPS, Fuel pump (it's whining loudly), spark plugs (OEM), and a dizzy cap and rotor. Any other ideas? Just want to make sure I'm not missing anything.
Edit: Where, in the states, can I purchase a Civic Type R distributor cap and rotor? I've been hunting around and I can't seem to find it anywhere.

try the parts and see how you get get on, if prob still there then check the dizzy and take from there

prob worth changing component at a time and test run to pin point actual fault

That is what I plan to do. I'll replace all those parts anyway but I'm going to do it step by step starting with the TPS.

If the problem started when the fuel pump got noisy then it's most likely the fuel pump causing the problem.

In all my "honda years" I've never experienced a bad pump and from all my research it's one of three things. pump, dizzy coil, or the TPS sensor. It's not the coil because the spark plugs look great so it's either the fuel pump or the dizzy. When a pump is about to go out does it get real "whiny"?

Only way to know for sure is to replace the pump.
You should go for Iridium 7 plugs.
They are much Much better than standard type plugs.
NGK BKR7EIX are the one's you want;)

Those are the plugs I purchased actually. When I was ordering my parts I changed up the plug type based on another thread in here.
Here is what I purchased:
NGK BKR7EIX's
Hamp Oil Filter
10 quarts of Eneos 5w30
5 quarts of Motul 75w90 (I have an OS Giken Clutch type diff)
Omni Power TPS sensor
Walboro 255lph Fuel Pump
Hasport 70a motor mounts
Energy Suspension transmission/ac mount inserts

I'm trying to cure my stuttering issues and my motor movement issues. The Innovative mounts I have have completely **** the bed. It feels like my motor is loose in the bay trying to get out.

One other thing. Is the USDM Integra Type R distributor cap and rotor the same as the civic type r? The USDM Civic Si version doesn't fit so I assume it's the same as the integra...

So I don't need the TPS sensor. I guess you could say that I panicked because my CTR power hatch is my only car. Turns out water got in one of my spark plug holes and was shorting out the plug/lead connection. I'm still replacing everything accept for the TPS sensor because it was due for it anyway. Never have I ever seen water in a sparkplug well EVER in all my years of honda experience. I guess you learn something new every day.

yea i was going to ask that question did you wash engine bay recently what damage can this course as i washed my engine bay recently would you need to change the plug or just clean it.

weird to have water in your plug well.

:nice: to find that bug!
