Engine help please.....

ive got a JDM b18c bottom end out of Integra Sir 2

what are the differences between these and the type r bottom end????
i know they have the same bore, stroke and block height??

but higher compression due to the higher dome on the piston.

so does this mean i can just buy itr pistons and gain my higher comp?


i have a facelift ek9 with these mods already:

-heat wrapped 5zeigen 4-2-1 98spec dc2 manifold
-silenced de cat
-fujitsubo cat back exhaust
-standard air box, K&N panel filter and spoon resonator replacement

and im obviously looking at stroking it to 1800cc

any help is greatly appreciated

seems that yes, that would be the engine my bottom end has come out of.
