Hi, I currently have a 1.4 00 facelift EJ9 hatch. I'm thinking of doing an engine swap in the summer and was wondering what I would need to get like ECU, Loom, breaks, etc. What is the best B16 to buy?? And how much will it cost me to do all of this work myself?? R if I get someone else to do it?? Thanks Joe.
 
try posting in the engine section mate, you might get better replies
 
A good engine and gearbox and all looks etc can be picked up for around 1500 depending on mileage etc, the swap may cost 1000ish for the work to be done as I think you will need new engine mounts
 
Hi mate if you need a b16b engine and gearbOx I have one forsale runs like a dream, pulls very hard, no smoke or funny noises, 87k can be seen running and driven,


In regards to you swop you will need b series shafts, ecu, engine loom, Ek- series mounts,2.5 inch system if running a b16b or b18c, brake upgrade is a must, id recommend a mb6/dc2 4x114.3 282mm hubs and calipers,upgrade the servo to a 1 inch.
