hey guys hows it goin. names Dawson frm huddersfield i own a ej9 and shes a beauty. does any1 no if its posible 2 drop a 2.2 vtec prelude engine in my moter? plus chek this web page owt racerbits.com i got a stainless 4.2.1 manifold for 80 quid, the quality is top notch so wer lafin!!! lol

Firstly, welcome to the forum mate. It is possible to drop an H22A motor into your EJ9 but it's far from the best option when it comes to a swap - too much weight amongst other things. K20 would be best if funds allow, followed by B18 if you aint feeling quite so flush (we're talking around 4 grand for K20...)

We would all like to go low but is it practical with all the 20mph speed bumps they have now adays? 30-45mm drop is probably more realistic, unless its intended as a track only car.
I havent done it to mine but maybe 15" alloys could take a 50mm drop.

You previously mentioned racebits.com, they have an adjustable coil set at 45 quid.
If anyone tries these im sure we would all be curious to know how they feel.

Ya we all know its possible but IMO a h22a conversion is a brilliant sawp. Ok it is one of hondas heaviest blocks and the transmission is week but this is one of the cheapest conversions out there. In a straight line it give the k20 a good run for its money. I am a guy who is about his straight line sleeper car and the h22 is a good one for that. Like it would eat a b18 off the road but not in the corners but as i said i am about straight lines(but that said doesn't mean it cannot be made to perform in the corners). Not really interested in tracking it. LOL so thats why i'm going ahead with a h22a conversion.
