embedding images in post

Can somebody please tell me how to embed images/pictures in my post, as everytime i do it they just appear at the bottom as attachments.
 
Yeah mate, if you upload your pics to photobucket (its free)
and then copy and paste the "img" code of the pics into your post :nice:
 
I tried attaching the pictures as you said by adding a link to photobucket with [/IMG] before and after the link, unfortunatly it just displayed little blue x's. I've since deleted the [/IMG]'s and just left the hyperlink, where am I going wrong tho?
 
Hmm I not sure man, see once you upload your pictures to photobucket, there is a bit on the picture called 'Direct Link' I usually just copy that then when posting just click on the wee image bit and post in there. let us know dude, we will get you there in the end! :))
 
simples;

1. get your file location by right clicking on it and getting file details, copy that file name and make sure it ends in a picture format ie jpeg, bmp, png....

2. on the message board where you type your message there is a grey outer box with all your emoticons and font setup? yes? Now click on the little yellow square with what looks like two grey mountains and a grey sun. It will ask for a file path simply copy your file path from before into it and click ok.


3. If done correctly sit back and marvel at your brilliance like me!! :nice:

That's exactly what I've done, I'll have to give it another go in the morning when I've more patience

You see the box that says "links" on the right hand side of the page, left click the img code link to highlight it, then right click it and select copy, then paste it into your post :nice:
