em1 what to do next.....

hi guys just posting my new em1 b16a2, sort of on a tight budget but looking for some thing new to do with the civic ill post the pics of how it is now with the spec list and well im open to suggestions on what to do next. thanks guys enjoy :)

engine.

4-2-1 jazma manifold to back box,
arc air intake,
y21 gearbox,
Mugen short shifter,

Body.

50/50 crystal back lights,
front eye lids (black),
black bonnet,
type r front lip.

Interior.

Mint red recaros,
matching red carpet,
Type r mats (front and back),
mugen front strut and rear strut,

Suspension.

Beaks back arms,
mugen centre strut,
4 stud teg type r hubs,
genuine type r wheels,
tenzo r 50mill springs,

Nice Em1 mate, not too keen on the eyelids but each to their own :D
 
spray the wheels black and get rid of the eyelids would look better imo
 
i have some better pics to upload later,

was thinking about painting the wheels black with the honda symbol red.

i fitted hid's today and a few other bits so ill put up a proper post when i get home.
 
well guys the car got a full detail today, compounded with g3 past, buffed with machine polish and then shined with grade a polish, serious contaminents it the paint, but great satisfaction from doing it.

i found 1 or 2 thing id like to touch up, front slitter has a few scratch's and back bumper is abit melted from exhaust touching it.

was looking into the direction of the exhaust..... how is the kicked up look on alot of the jdm sir's done? looks cool and could solve my bumper melting issue.....

i also fitted new hid's today aswell serious difference at night. and defonutly a thumbs up for looks inprovement.

i also fitted an after market rev gauge with shift light, had it there doing nothing so what the hell,

im thinking of adding a turbo timer for engine cooling insted of instance turn off. (im a very impatient guy)

stil unsure about the eyelids,....

any inspiriational pics would be greatly appreciated.....

Get rid of the eyelids , Dont waste your money on a turbo timer , 2 reasons for this , one they only help cool turbos not the engine , second the do **** all fir turbos too and just waste petrol, and about what you should do nxt depends on what you want from your car, ie handle betters , look different, more power etc etc
 
well she handles well on the road and im going to get new rubber soon if i keep it, the engine has great power and extremely light on petrol, looks i think would be the next thing it just seems to be missing some thing
 
yes i was looking at a few pics today on done deal and eye lids have to go. im thinking black splitter and roof spoiler
 
Ok for looks if was me would be carbon lip < mugen , and if your sticking Honda wheels get civic type r ones, and Dont spray them black , just champ white , but that just me , you have a nice car like , but that what I would change
 
ok guys my life has gone out in a bang.......

shell bearings, i raced an sir today pulled on him about two car lenths, was on the way back in when i noticed that there was a very faint rattle. i didnt hesitate to pull in and check the oil. surely to my disapointment it was empty. i meen out...

kept her at the 2k rpm the mile back in and well it didnt get worce untill i put the oil in, its really bad now, i didnt drive it hard enough to spin the bearing so i could just replace them but she needs valve seals, so im sort of in a perdicament.

Sorry to hear about the engine mate but every cloud... this is a nice excuse to go b18 instant 30% increase in power over an a2. You dont get problems you just get opportunities :)

I agree with the others though get them eyelids off colour code that bonnet, white wheels and get some coilovers they beat springs all day long :)
 
i dont want to make a dig but those strut braces look like megan racing ones not mugen power ones :/
 
Some dose about the engine.. As said above nows your chance to make it quicker..

Get rid of the eyebrows and get standard em1 lights..:nice:
