Hmm it a good road for some late nite fun but the team work from both driver and co-driver is really good and btw is that 9 super charged as that wine sounds good

the whine is coming from the straight cut gears..
 
Excellent video, driver and co-driver worked exceptionally well; also the co-driver remained composed over some *sticky* corners. That EK was just glued to the road..love it. :D :D
 
heavy. really nice drive. at 7.00Mins where they're going through the shikane I didn't saw where they have to go ^^ I guesed that they missed a corner :p

Those straight cut gears, what advantages they have beside that great sound ;)
 
Nice.....I was trying to keep up with the co-driver's instructions and couldn't understand much of it, so if I was driving, would of said hello to the trees many times :naughty:
 
So it's like a better synchronisation of the gears. Well I gues for daily use it would be hard with that noise and iam pretty shure that nearly everyone who is your passenger asks you if your wheelbearing is damaged :naughty:
 
Not sure about the 'great' driving. There seems to be a few corrections and far too many down shifts during corners to compensate for going too hard into some corners.

Gears sound epic though!
 
to answer the straight cut gear question, straight cut gears transmit power at an efficiency of 99.5% compared to your 90% efficiency of your helical gears :)
 
that elite kit was not very successful due to using standard honda selector forks, most big power civic rally cars here in ireland are using the quaife snychro kit. Work very well!
