Ek9's are overpriced!

the prizes look ok to me considering it's an ek9 - dc2
here in my place eg6 are about 6.000eyros and with no tuning extra parts on them...

If you want an overpriced car buy a jordan, i've seen people asking over £4500 for them and they're just yellow vti's with some stickers. nothing against vti's though as they are very good cars for the money. i just think that jordans ruined the yellow ek9 :angry:

totallt agree with this, another point is you could buy a good condition vti for say 3500, add on all the money you would spend on suspension, brakes engine mods etc and it soon mounts up.

you can have an ek9 standard and it's still a better car to drive imo. my mate vti just seems of a lower standard than my ek9 despite what he does to it. as for the high prices i got mine for 3k plus my mb6 vti-s as a part ex. shop around and turn up with the cash in your hand if you go to view one, alot of people find it hard to turn down a lower off when they can see the cash in front of them

I think it is excellent that this car does not loose it's value it makes it special as the people who appreciate it will pay the money to own it.

you simply don't want any tom dick or harry owning one

Likewise, I agree it's a good thing. The price is high because they're such a special and indvidual car. They are part of a 'niche' market - on the most part they're owned by true and knowledgable enthusiasts.

The last thing I want is for them to start becoming common. I don't wanna see such a special car ruined by immature boy racer types, which I'm sure would start to happen should the price keep coming down..

tooooooooo right!!!:clap::clap::clap::clap::clap:

If the pound gets stronger against the Yen EK9s are going to get cheaper! people ill just make more profit on them :lol:

give it ten years jordans will be well more expensive than ek9s..... maybe?
