ek9 turbo ebay


8k! It might be turboed but it's completely stripped! The interior is worth 1k alone! Not only that, they guy has advertised it as a civic type r....no mention of 'EK9' anywhere, makes me think they are not on this forums?
 
Looks good, if they are not a member here I would think someone on here will know the car?
 
Plus my mate told me he's been getting slated for reving the tits off of it all over Facebook stationery.
 
This car was owned by Paul on here when it was na. Was a true mint example, Really liked it. He swapped it for a k20 dc2 and the new owner handed it over to racetech along with 7k lol and it went downhill from there. Been out in it and yeah it was quick, The turbo kit did look a mess though. No idea wats going on with the manifold design it did cracked a few times aswell. The setup soon failed after though. Then got sold as a non runner.
 
Yh thats right think i remember reading a thread about the owner slating racetech
 
Looked like a good build initially but the history above soon puts you off - but then most used cars have a history and we will never know
 
Meh, well overpriced IMO.
How long until this engine goes pop, if it's been through multiple engines, it would put me off.

The car might have had the proper work done to it this time round. I'm just stating what i know about its history. If I really wanted the car I would buy with my eyes open.
Any build can go pop it's not the cars fault. It's like with most modified cars now.

Spot on. It's not about what a car was but in fact what a car is now. To be fair how many ek9's have their original engines nowadays?

any engine can go pop any time, i see brand new bmw engines fail all the time. Seems like a nice car

Don't think 8k is overpriced for a boosted 9...just overpriced for this one lol
