hi every1 i live in the UK currently have a glanza but want an ek9...or maybe an eg6...not sure yet but defo a civic lol...i firstly want to know how much it will set me back for an engine thats turbocharged...i dnt want a bolt on turbo kit and thats it i mean sumthin reliable for everyday use...forged internals the full lot!!

any1 got any price estimates in pound sterrling? i know standard ek9 is quite fast but my glanza has 200bhp so i want a boosted vtec motor if i get a civic...something with about 350-400whp

insurance renewal is cumin up so give me sum prices people...cus want sumthin faster and gta decide whether to spend a good few grand forging and td05'ing the glanza or gettin a boosted ek9 that i take it wud out-do a performance starlet?

dnt know much bout honda engines so all i know is what power i want...and i need a reputable place in the UK to do the job! any feedback appreciated cheers...

Hey mate. If your thinking about turbo'ing a 9, have a look in the forced induction thread. Theres quite alot of info in there.
Also I suggest speaking to EK9turbo and Blinx.
I had a tuned ep82 before I converted over and got a 9, and was planning to do all kinds of crazy bhp mods before I bought the car, as I thought I'd be bored with n/a power after having a turbo car..... I was so wrong lol.

Everyone to their own, but I reccon you should get a 9 and leave it stock for a while before you got ott with the mods. I think you'll be surprised how good they feel out of the box. Plus straightline speeds will become boaring once you get the 9, its all about the handling:nice:

I only know US prices and i have already informed you of them, maybe ek9turbo knows more about UK prices.

hey bud, i currently have both ek9(standard apart from j's intake) and 175 bhp glanza, also had quite a few other quick cars, i totaly agree with what d'janiero said,
use a ek9 properly, forget about straight line speed and you will love it:nice:
not saying you shouldn't turbo a ek9, but i think your veiws may change when you own one and get used to it, the thrill of the ek9 is a million times greater than the starlet.
i guess its all about how you like to drive and what you want the car to do.
