ek9 top speed

when i clock the ek9 it goes past the 180kph mark and all the down to civic type r logo on the clock , just wondering what the top speed is before the limiter kicks in?
i am planning on installing an apexi rsm in the future what is top speed after you install an rsm ?

a friend of mines ek9 read 248kph on his rsm one night which is about 154mph. he's got a pic of it
 
one million mph if the wind is on your side, maybe 2 million with some NOS octane booster from halfords.

Sarcasm aside, who cares :) They are made to go fast around corners not in a straight line :nice:

:win: haha, 140mph + is pretty quick for a 1.6/1.8 anyway :)
 
its not about top speed, its about how fast you get there :naughty:
 
Got 148 out of my bone stock DC2 with RON102.
 
Haha, so true. Had a Civic with JDM B16A before this and the difference in getting to 130mph between my JDM B16A Civic en my DC2 is sooooooo big, much bigger than the 30hp difference would make you expect! And imho also much more important.

@elchuck: hmmmm...I'm not setting a good example then am I? :D

how inaccurate is some of the peoples readings? mine was 150 speedo and 145 gps?
 
Fastest mine's been is 140mph when it hits the limiter at 9k in 5th lol (B18C6)
 
My speed was GPS, can't remember what speedo speed was, was going too fast to look at it :D

yes that speed is the clock almost all the way round to zero with out a rsm it looks like 160+ that is how everyone thinks their ek4s can do 150mph
 
Got mine nearly to the 0km/h mark on a near autobahn...
Maybe real speed between 240 and 250kph? Still impressive for a over 10 years old 1.6l engine with just a few mods :bow::bow::naughty:
