hi mates, I don't know if it's in the wrong section or not but, I have a problem and would like some help. My noticed that the front left ride height of my ek9 is getting lower by time, has it happened to any of you guys? The shock isn't leaking...could it be the upper arm??

Have you checked that you don't have a snapped spring?

Standard Coil springs loose height over time due to prolonged stress and age, this could be your issue? Strange that it's only 1 though!

It had the tein super street coilovers installed. After about 2 months that i installed the coilovers I noticed it getting lower and thought that the problem was the coilovers. Now I reinstalled the oem springs + shocks and the problem is still there...

any help guys??? I don't know what to do.....help please.....................

ill like someone 2 help on this as i think i might av the same issue im running a d2 coilover nd it seems my front left is lower than the right sayin dat i change the balljoint on the left cud this make it happen any help wud do.

Makes sense that the front left is lower since the engine is there. I have an EJ6 fitted with a B16 and EK9 standard springs/shocks and my ride height is also slightly lower at the front left. Anyone know if this is normal or are we just riding on worn springs?

The springs are good because the problem was still there with the tein super street coilovers fitted. I also switched the springs from left to right, nothing happened. The front left is 3/4 of an inch lower than the front right. The engine is not the problem neither, it doesn't make sense......

Any update?

I still don't know what is the problem. I would appreciate some more help... I will try next to put a big washer under the spring, between the spring and the shock, and see what will happen and tell you how it came.

maybe something to do with upper arm? have coilovers in my dc2 and jordan and they dont sage down on any side, altho they have new bushes kits in them

I thought that the problem might be the upper arm, but not sure about it cause the ride height depends on the springs
