Ek9 or Integra wheels

I'm going to forget the Uk Integra wheels then due to the minimal weight saving.

I've seen these 16" Wed Sports TC-005 for £300 http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v186/l11vyl/Weds TC-005/ and quite like them . Are they worth it? They are lightweight at 12.71bs but once tyres are fitted will surely weigh about the same as 15" oem wheels.

To save weight I assume you really have to go with high quality forged 15's ??

Tegiwa on ebay have 15" TE37 & Regamasters every now and then, at £600ish are your best bet. Only got the Teg rims for looks as my oem are in a bad way (previous owner) weight is a very small bonus. I will get a set of the Slipstream time attack for the track @ 5kg & £350. Why did you sell yours zen?

Sold my slipstreams as I decided I didn't really like the look or fitment and realised regarding weight saving they were pretty much like oem wheels.

Wished I'd waited longer now, saved a bit more money and bought some Regamasters or Buddy Club P1 QF wheels.

What was wrong with the fitment? Offset problem or something else?

I found it was difficult to centre the wheel on the hub as there is no locator for the hub on the rota wheels. This meant it was really difficult to mount the wheel centrally and some wheel nuts were too close to the rim so when tightening it scraped the paint on the wheel.

This also means there is nothing restricting the movement of the wheel vertically / horizontally on the hub other than the 5 nuts being tight.

Kinda hard to explain but anyone who has these wheels will hopefully understand what I mean.

Thanks for that, was going to get some but they dont sound too good for track rims now.

i think the teg wheels look quite nice on the ek9. Like this one, looks well smart.
