EK9 or Int DC2 ???????

really hard choice nowadays as ek9's are coming down in price alot and very close to the price of a teg.
looked at tegs before i got my 9 and i was only swayed by the price i got my 9 for.
i think the ek9 is definately better in the corners than a dc2 but that might purely be down the the dc2's i looked at not being in good condition.
test drive them both end of the day its your money mate

I have a teg and went with the EK, I like the move but like everyone has said its up to you. Which one do you like more you know. I personally like the EK better I have always wanted one so I snatched it up. Good luck on your choice though

ive had 2 ek9's and 2 tegs i love them both, id go for what ever came up at the time of looking... i swapped my b18 ek9 for my yellow teg. but then i swapped my evo 6 rs for a standard ek9 lol so that proves id have either lol

Both are awesome. Comes to what you prefer the look of I suppose. Very similar in many ways.

X2 they are both really nice cars :)

a lot of the guys i know have ek9's and jordans and my dad has a teg

but they are both very different cars so i think in the end its down to persoanl preference :)

Hey there,

Ek for looks and TEG for power
Drop a B18c in a ek and ur laughing
Thats what i've got
You'll beat just aboot anything including a 9 lol
But i'm biast too tho never drove a DC2

X2

EK9 for look
DC2 Type R for power.

As what about everyone can see, is the impresieve look of the EK9, I will choose the 9, and drop the power from a DC2 type R into that 9

DC2 ... no replacement for displacement, same high reving 8.3K b-series but with 1.8 liters.

EK9 with b18c is the best combo tho. lighter weight, hatchback rigidity...

im going for a teg, on the sole purpose that you can get a nice one cheaper than a nice ek9

I had ek9 b16b then i put in a b18c car had very good spec rg coilovers mugen diff and sway bars, race setup done in japan and still my teg with 888's and d2 coilovers handles better teg all the way 96 spec and rebuild engine with oversize pistons and you will have one very fun car.

When I started looking for a car to replace my R34 I originally wanted a DC5 but with insurance quotes no different I decided the only car I wanted was a 98 JDM ITR and ideally an RX with all the trimmings. I went out in search of one and came back with an EK9 lightweight!

For me there were a few factors that swung me:

Nicer interior on the facelift (inc cupholders)
Roomier
Cheaper to insure
Sheep in wolfs clothing effect
More bits available

Initial plan was to get an EK9 after letting go my Integra SiR but then ended up with a JDM 96 Spec ITR for about 6months now.

Few days ago test drive another JDM 97 CTR, the ek9 definitely handles better on corners. Now Im contemplating whether to let go my dc2 for the ek9.

both are nice cars it will come down to you on the day when you test drive them

Owned both uk and Jdm 98 spec Dc2,Ek9 and Highly tuned Kpro'd DC5.

Now back to an Ek9 again as it was the best of all of them for me.
