very niceeeeeeeeeeeeee.... 3rd gear is very short. I'm guessing he changed the ratio of his 1st and 2nd gears. I wonder what engine.

I'm 99% its a K20 cuz I've seen this car(interior and sound) in some other youtoube videos. Yea, the 3rd gear is short and I think he changed the ratios of that gear, not the 1st and 2nd

I dont think this car is a K20 :nerv: :drive:

How can you prove that it isn't a K20? For me, the proof is the extreme N/A torque/power it has and the distinct heavy noise of a 2.0 L vtec engine. Do you think is a B18C? :drive: :naughty: :p nice smiles btw!!

a k20a and its only overtaken the DC2 through good driving?

I totally agree. A K20 engine in a ek9 body should probably lap the DC2 not just pass it.
:drive:Wicked ****ing smiley great work admin
and why does blinx have his own personal smiley--->:blinx:

Manos: It's not a K20A... If it was then the guy wouldn't need to do some serious driving like he did... I reckon it's a 1.8 with mods which gave it the edge over the ITR.

Every opinion is respected, but again, how can you be so sure that its a modded EK9 B18C battling hard with a stock ITR B18C and not a modded(or not) EK9 K20 battling hard with a modded ITR B18C? As I said before, the noise says a lot.......

I can't be 100 % sure, but because of the races I've seen, that car runs on a regulated series / category, I think thats why he can't install a k20 engine :)

Also in their site, they talk about b20 and b16a tuning, they dont mention k20 tuning hehe

:nice: sorry, was a bit harsh... I edited last message... Anyway, heres a video of JUN's highly tuned B16A + 1.8L stroker 12.4CR... now listen to this sound... I've also heard that it is around 20K for people in Asia to install a K20A. They all said is way too expensive and people would rather get something else. So should be rare.

Manos: This is what Toda does with their gear ratios. SPOON does the same except adds a 4.6 final gear. If we shorten the 3rd gear, then revs will struggle in 4th and it will be too long also.

EK9 / DC2 96spec
Close type transmission KIT
Use your engine performance to the full.

That's why I told you the other day that the project says changing the ratios of 3rd and 4th gear :nice:
